Documentation & COA Policy
How to find, match, and interpret available product and lot documentation.
On this page
1. Available documentation
Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and related analytical records provide information about the testing they report. Availability and content vary by product, SKU, and lot.
2. Match your product and lot
Search Standards using your product name or lot number. Match the record to the product and lot shown on your label. Do not apply one lot’s results to another lot. If the information does not match, contact support before relying on it.
3. Read the complete record
Review the sample or lot identified, methods used, results reported, and any stated limitations. A record may include identity, purity, composition, test method, or lot reference information. It reports only the testing it lists.
4. What documentation does not establish
Documentation does not guarantee research outcomes or establish regulatory approval, safety, or suitability for human or animal use. A purity result alone does not establish sterility, acceptable endotoxin levels, or the absence of other contaminants.
All products remain subject to the Research Use Only Policy. A document does not authorize a prohibited use.
5. Missing or mismatched documentation
Submit a Documentation / COA request through support. Include the product name, lot number, and SKU and order number when available, along with a description of what you need.
6. Updates to records
We may update documentation as new records become available. Check that the record you use applies to your product and lot.
